For me there is an emptiness in the way I view my surroundings. I carry a conviction that the only thing beyond the actual physical elements in the ground, the structures and the nature are the associations I have to my past, my present and my future. With my head leaning against the car window at ten I saw the country side turn into the city and the city turn into the countryside. With my head leaning against the car window at sixteen I day after day passed by the same places again. With my head leaning against the window at twenty-six I am reminded of how I came to where I am now, about then and now and why place after place has been left behind for something new and better. I see myself then and I see myself now in the places.
